Nevertheless, God calls us to serve those who appear to bring nothing to the table. Matthew 25:40 says, “I tell you the truth when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!”
In light of this command, we should ask ourselves, “Who is ‘the least of these’ God is calling me to love and serve?”

Well said ma'am. We may never know who "the least" might be. I've met many people in fine clothes, with fine homes, driving sporty new cars who were more empty inside than the homeless person living in the refrigerator box under the overpass. I used to call them "shell people", because I just sensed they were empty inside; like the empty shell of a locust in late summer. My most valuable lesson came from adopting mama, who taught me to greet the world with a warm smile and kind word. Whenever I've remembered to do this, I've been blessed much more than burned by it.

May I one day be found as faithful (and fruitful) as your mama. I know she's proud of the way you've taken her lessons and put feet on them. Blessings to you!
