When All You See is Death and Loss, Here's Hope
(If you're receiving this by email and can't see the video link above, click here.)
The kind friends at Writers Advance! Boot Camp encouraged me to tell you my secret, so here it is:
I LOVE TO SHARE WHAT GOD IS TEACHING ME!
Now to some of you, this comes as no surprise. You've studied with me in Women's Bible Studies. You've experienced the amazing possibilities of prayer during one of my Praying with Power women's conferences. You've come away challenged and equipped when you've attended a homeschool mom's meeting where I've been the guest speaker.
But others of you only know me through my blog, Hungry for God; Starving for Time.
You've read my words, but you've never heard me speak. You've felt my heart, but you've never seen my smile.
It's time for this to change. While I'll still be sharing primarily through the written word on Hungry for God, every so often I'll include a special Vlog post, a video message of hope and encouragement, from my home to yours and from my heart to your heart.
I'm excited about this new component to Hungry for God, and I hope you are too. Leave a comment below and tell me what you think.
And would you share the good news with your friends? By clicking on one of the buttons below, you can share words of hope on Facebook, Twitter, and Google.
If you haven't subscribed to Hungry for God yet, what are you waiting for? Enter your email address in the box below and receive biweekly HFG posts straight to your inbox. Thanks for passing it on, and may the God of all hope fill you with joy today!

Yes, true hope is found only in the Lord. We are to hunger only after Him. Great encouragement.
ReplyDeleteLove it Lori! You continue to inspire and encourage me. I am so glad to know you. Keep up the good work the world needs you.

ReplyDeleteGreat job, Lori! Wow, you jump on projects fast! I pray God's blessings on all your projects!
ReplyDeleteAwesome that you've entered the world of vLogging! Video conveys emotion in ways that text alone can't.
ReplyDelete(In one of my other roles in life, I work with a video production studio so I understand the care it takes to make an effective video.)
Meeting you by having linked behind you on faith-filled fridays...your vlog is wonderful...the message and the courage to do one! You did wonderfully!
ReplyDeleteSo glad God's encouraged you. You're an encouragement to me! So sweet to hear from you :)
ReplyDeleteVonda, you know how it is when you're reading your Bible and God repeats something? Yup, you'd better sit up and take notice. Well, when both you and Diana said the same thing -- start vlogging, I sat up and took notice. I respect and admire both of you so much, and appreciate your encouragement and prayers. :)
ReplyDeletewow, Lori, I sure would appreciate any thoughts you have about how to improve in this new adventure of mine. I often speak to women's groups and at conferences, as well as teach, so I just pretended I had my sweet ladies sitting there in front of me, and clicked play :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for the encouragement, Cindy. What a blessing.
ReplyDeleteHello would you mind letting me know which web host you're working with? I've
ReplyDeleteloaded your blog in 3 different browsers and I must say
this blog loads a lot faster then most. Can you suggest a good web hosting provider at a reasonable
price? Cheers, I appreciate it!
